Every stage in the making of this beautiful art involved human hands， from quarrying - bringing to surface - cutting to art size pieces - shaping - polishing etc. The only element of Carbon footprint is the Transportation from the Artisan to you. Kisii Stone is brought to the surface by hand from quarries that can be over 100-feet deep - the large chunks of stone are cut by axe and other hand tools at the bottom of the Quarry. The carver cuts to size， shapes and defines the stone using only basic hand tools. Cherish this one of a kind piece.
